Why organisations choose NPS over a survey subscription

A survey gives you a market line. NPS carries that line through tax, employer cost and internal equity to a decision.

Market pay and net pay in one chain

A survey stops at the percentile. NPS carries the number through PAYE, UIF, retirement caps, medical credits and employer cost to the take-home figure and the true cost of the hire.

Job intelligence, not job codes

Upload a job description, CV or profile and NPS reads scope, skills, seniority and geography, then matches comparable roles with an explainable confidence score.

Diagnostics, not just data

Internal equity, pay compression, inversion and unexplained variance are flagged with an action and an estimated correction cost — analysed in your browser, never uploaded.

Accessible entry, enterprise depth

No six-figure survey commitment to answer one question. Start with a single benchmark report and scale into multi-entity modelling and API access.

Subscription questions

How much does the Net Pay Simulator (NPS) cost?

NPS Professional starts at R499 a month for an individual practitioner, NPS Business from R2 500 a month for HR teams, and NPS Enterprise from R8 500 a month for large multi-entity employers. Single benchmark reports start at R199 with no subscription. All prices are in rand, billed monthly, and can be cancelled at any time.

What is the difference between the Professional, Business and Enterprise tiers?

Professional is for one practitioner: benchmarking, job matching, market percentiles, compa-ratio and net-pay simulation. Business adds multiple users, employee benchmarking across your payroll, salary structures, pay-gap analysis, budget and increase modelling and exportable reports. Enterprise adds multiple entities, custom comparator groups, executive benchmarking, API and HRIS integration, advanced dashboards and dedicated support.

Why do you verify my ID or company registration number?

The Individual price is reserved for natural persons, so we validate the South African ID number against the Home Affairs checksum locally in your browser and store only the last four digits. Company subscriptions are verified against a valid CIPC registration number format.

Can I upgrade or downgrade between tiers?

Yes. You can switch between Professional and Business from your billing page at any time. Upgrades apply immediately with a pro-rated charge for the rest of the month; downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing period. Moving to or from Enterprise is arranged with our team.

What data do I need to run a simulation?

For an individual net-pay simulation: gross salary, age, and any retirement or medical contributions. For benchmarking: a job title plus a job description, CV or profile for the job-intelligence match. For equity diagnostics: a CSV of your payroll (title, grade, salary, gender) — analysed in your browser and never uploaded to our servers.

Can I cancel, and what happens to my access?

You can cancel at any time from the billing page. Your subscription stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for — access only ends on that date, and no further payment is taken.

What happens if a payment fails?

Access continues during a grace period while the payment is retried. You will receive an email prompting you to update your card, and you can do it yourself on the billing page at any time.

Is the simulator accurate for the 2026/27 tax year?

Yes. Every calculation uses the official SARS tables for the selected year of assessment, including rebates, medical scheme fees tax credits, the 27.5% retirement deduction cap and the UIF contribution ceiling.
